Jesus: the Jew and the Christ

Our fall Clergy Institute will be held on Monday, November 7, 2011, from 8:30am to Noon.
Dr. Philip Cunningham, Professor of Theology and Director of the Institute for Jewish-Catholic Relations at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, and Rabbi Alvin Berkun, past president of the Rabbinical Assembly, the international organization of Conservative Rabbis and a leader in Catholic-Jewish dialogue nationally and internationally, will be our teachers on the 7th. The theme is "Jesus, the Jew and the Christ". Our text will be "Christ Jesus and the Jewish People Today: New Explorations of Theological Interrelationships", edited by Dr. Cunningham.
The venue will be Massman 250 on the Rockhurst University Campus. Once again, the program will begin with a light breakfast and registration at 8:30am followed by the teaching and sharing at 9am.
